There was a joint birthday party for two of my Son and Daughters' friends. I made them matching cards with their names on. I used gingham paper and some picnic images. They loved the cards.
This is starting off as a gallery of my hand-made cards but will include anything I feel is relevant to the card-making and scrapbooking hobby I love.

Grrrreat
This card was made for someone who likes animal print clothes and handbags. The shapes were peel-offs and I stuck them onto patterned paper and cut round them. I used a patterned card blank and attached a few punched shapes and gems. I used a stencil for the name and cut out the letters and stuck them on. My friend was very pleased with it.
This card was made using the Crafters Companions Boys and Girls Collection Stamps. The hearts and unicorns were coloured using pencils (by Emily, my 6-year old), the castle was a printed one from the Crafters Companion Boys and Girls CD, and is attached to the front of the card so that it opens as well as the actual card.
This was given to Emily's friend for her birthday.
Made this card using images from My Craft Studio - Finishing Touch CD. Lucasz was really shocked to be given a card with his name on the front, it isn't exactly easy to buy one like it in a card shop!
The balloons have been printed on glossy paper and then cut out and decoupaged. The cardstock is pearlescent card.
