Results from the show

Well, I was really pleased.  My items at the produce show did really well.  In the greetings card category, my Flower Fairies card came 2nd, my collage came 2nd in its class, my photo was 3rd and I was given Highly Commended for my glass painted jar.  I didn't get a place for my painting, but as it was my first attempt and was a step-by-step project from a book, I was not expecting anything.

Oliver gained 3rd place for his Lego Lighthouse.

This was made by taking 8 butterfly tiles and teabag folding them to make a rosette. I then added cut out butterflies to the edges.

The butterflies were on the Alan and Barrys Mosaic Marvels CD set and the words were printed using the other cd of the set.

Joint picnic cards

There was a joint birthday party for two of my Son and Daughters' friends. I made them matching cards with their names on. I used gingham paper and some picnic images. They loved the cards.

Grrrreat

This card was made for someone who likes animal print clothes and handbags. The shapes were peel-offs and I stuck them onto patterned paper and cut round them. I used a patterned card blank and attached a few punched shapes and gems. I used a stencil for the name and cut out the letters and stuck them on. My friend was very pleased with it.

This card was made using the Crafters Companions Boys and Girls Collection Stamps. The hearts and unicorns were coloured using pencils (by Emily, my 6-year old), the castle was a printed one from the Crafters Companion Boys and Girls CD, and is attached to the front of the card so that it opens as well as the actual card.
The small castle inside the front castle was stamped and coloured in by Emily.
This was given to Emily's friend for her birthday.

Made this card using images from My Craft Studio - Finishing Touch CD. Lucasz was really shocked to be given a card with his name on the front, it isn't exactly easy to buy one like it in a card shop!
The balloons have been printed on glossy paper and then cut out and decoupaged. The cardstock is pearlescent card.
Well, this is new for me, never had a blog before!

I will be posting some photos of some cards I have been making to start with, then who knows? I'll just let it evolve.
